T Klein on "[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Conflict with configure SMTP"

I used this fix suggest by dreamhost in this thread:

and my emails go through great when using the "send through gmail" function of configure SMTP, but I do not get the green confirmation box, and my "additional settings" don't get executed specifically the redirect.

Any thoughts?
