This plugin *looks* like it may be exactly what I need for our school district's network of sites.
Our main site is, for example, http://www.example.org/
I'd planned on creating a separate site (with this plugin) at people.example.org and have staff pages at, for example, people.example.org/jdoe/
A couple of questions, which aren't exactly related to the plugin, but this plugin raises the questions.
Is there a plugin to provide a global search across the multiple networks?
The closest I've found is multisite-global-search, which doesn't do this.
Additionally, on staff pages on the secondary network (people.), I'd like to use the "main" menu from the /other/ main network site. Is this feasible?
Any insight is much appreciated, and thanks for creating this plugin!
