Hi thanks for trying to sort this out...however...
Although I can now see and select the list of categories from the "widgets controller" plugin, the "categories" widget doesn't display anything on the actual webpage when I enable the plugin.
I have over 30 categories but only want to display 8 of them in a dropdown list...
