If you look into the EME settings page, you'll see this text for the events page: 'The content of this page (including shortcodes of any kind) will be ignored completely and dynamically replaced by events data.'
So just use shortcodes (see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=17 ) on any page to your liking (just not the event page), and look at the result. And the formatting can be changed by using any of the placeholders for each of the format settings in the EME settings page (see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=23 )
