suppose you have a slideshow full of Youtube videos and there are some which are not yet displayed. Then, when you slide to the next video, first a blank screen appears and then the iframe is loaded. If you would load adjacent iframes which are not yet displayed, this would increase the look and feel of the Youtube slides considerably.
