Lisha5684 on "Do I have to edit settings in Robots Meta for it to work?"

When I upload Robots Meta, do I have to edit the settings too, or can I just select noindex, nofollow in any given page or post? That's all I want to do, and I don't understand the settings. Thanks for any help!
